When to choose Dline

The Dline collection is designed for environments where the barrier should remain visually discreet: art galleries, museums, boutique hotels, exhibition spaces and premium corporate lobbies. The minimalist tube design (Ø2.5 cm painted steel) deliberately moves away from the industrial appearance of conventional barriers, allowing it to integrate into carefully designed interiors without distracting visitors.

Its main purpose is to define spaces without dominating them. While a collection such as Dlimit prioritises robustness and high-traffic performance, Dline prioritises aesthetics: a lightweight 5 kg base, slim tube and magnetic braking mechanism instead of the conventional mechanical brake. This combination provides quiet retraction and a refined belt movement.

Available finishes

Tube in matte black, matte white, satin chrome or custom RAL powder coating on request (minimum 20 units). Belt available in 14 standard colours, with custom CMYK printing featuring your logo from a single unit. Interchangeable top cap: standard cap, courtesy LED cap, or A5/A4 sign-holder tray.

Technical specifications

Ø25 mm steel tube, Ø35 cm powder-coated cast-iron base, total weight 5 kg, height 95 cm. Retractable belt up to 2.3 m with magnetic braking on retraction. Top-cap mechanism with four belt receivers (4-way system) for straight-line, corner or T-shaped configurations. Compatible with the Dstandard wall-mounted system to terminate the belt at a wall.

Reference installations

Dline is installed at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, several Fundació Mapfre galleries, Hotel Casa Camper in Barcelona and the Únicos Hotels boutique hotel network. In airports, it is used primarily in VIP areas and business lounges, where brand image takes precedence over passenger-flow capacity.
