Dterminal is the range built for environments where the retractable barrier will withstand thousands of cycles a day: airport check-in, border control, stadium access, hospital waiting areas, trade-fair box offices and boarding zones. While Dlimit and Dstandard cover any general installation, Dterminal adds a reinforced cassette with electronic brake, rated for over 50,000 cycles without loss of belt tension.
The heart of the range is the Dterminal 360° cassette: an anodised-aluminium capsule with four independent belt receivers that rotates freely around the upright. This detail eliminates the typical airport-stanchion problem where the operator has to physically orient the post to hook the next belt — the Dterminal cassette accepts the belt from any angle without turning the post.
Available variants
Four base variants: BASIC (entry-level, stable 9 kg base), STANDARD (best-seller, reinforced 12 kg base with belt up to 4 m), DUAL (5 m belt for large terminals), MAX (the longest in the industry, belt up to 7 m for international flows in hub airports). All variants share the same cassette and can be mixed.
Technical specifications
Ø70 mm oven-baked-painted steel upright, reinforced 12-15 kg base with non-slip rubber, 1,000 mm height. Reinforced polyester belt with electronic retention brake, 50 mm width, standard black/red or CMYK custom from 50 units. Tested in UV ageing chamber (1,000 hours) and impact test compliant with EN 1610. Compatible with Dterminal accessories: A4/A3 sign holders, transport kit, wall-mount base and Dterminal SH evacuation cone.
Reference installations
Dterminal is installed at Barcelona-El Prat airport (T1 and T2), Madrid-Barajas (T4), Lisbon-Humberto Delgado, Aeroporto di Roma Fiumicino and the SNCF high-speed-rail station network in France. On the cruise side it equips Barcelona, Genoa and Civitavecchia port terminals. Its cost/durability ratio makes it the standard choice for public tenders.
