Panic Lock

The Dlimit panic release is an emergency release clamp designed to automatically release the belt from the post when the flow of people exceeds a pressure threshold, preventing crushing and falls in situations of mass panic: the mechanism releases the belt with a calibrated force (factory-adjustable) that keeps it taut during normal use but yields instantly when the crowd pushes. It is the standard component for exit queues at theatres, sports stadiums, nightclubs, schools conducting drills, venues with large capacities, and any environment subject to evacuation regulations.
