The Dlimit security lock is a locking clamp with a mechanical locking mechanism in addition to the standard magnet: it incorporates a cam or screw system which, once the end of the belt is hooked in, prevents anyone without a specific tool from opening the lock by pulling on the end. It is the recommended component for sensitive perimeter controls (hospitals with restricted areas, museums with heritage galleries, VIP checkpoints, military, judicial and police facilities), traffic closures at construction sites where access must be effectively blocked rather than merely signposted, and locations where there is a risk of tampering by the public.
