Dlimit Tactic S.L. is the leading Spanish manufacturer of retractable belt stanchions. From our factory in Mataró, we manufacture and distribute to customers in over 30 European countries.

What began as a niche product for the airport sector has become the go-to crowd control solution in sectors as diverse as hospitality, banking, museums and data centres.

In-house design, in-house manufacturing, total quality control. We are not a middleman: every post bearing the Dlimit™ name leaves our factory in Mataró.

The retraction spring and brake system are made from AISI 304 stainless steel. It does not rust, does not fatigue, and is silent. Tested for over 200,000 extension and retraction cycles.

Everything you need to know before placing your order.

What is the minimum order for customised belts?
The minimum order for custom-printed belts is 50 units. For special stanchion finishes (non-standard RAL lacquers), the minimum is 20 units. There is no minimum for stanchions in standard finishes (black, satin stainless steel, white, yellow).
What is the delivery time for customised belts?
The usual lead time is 10 working days from approval of the colour proof. We send a free digital proof before production. Posts in standard finishes are dispatched within 48–72 hours from Spain, and within 5–7 days to the rest of Europe.
Are dlimit. posts compatible with other brands?
dlimit. posts use the industry-standard connection system (50mm button/receiver). They are compatible with most posts on the market. Replacement belts are also compatible in both directions.
Can I replace just the belt without changing the post?
Yes. The belts are replaceable on all dlimit models. Replacement takes less than 30 seconds without tools. We stock replacement belts in all standard colours and in customised versions.
What is the warranty on the mechanism?
The retractable mechanism comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The body and finish are covered by a 2-year warranty. In the event of a fault, we will replace the unit or the affected component free of charge.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
The standard models are designed for indoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend requesting a UV-protected finish on the belt. We have models with specific outdoor finishes available upon consultation with our team.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. We offer distributor and key account rates. For projects exceeding 100 units, please contact our sales team to discuss special terms.
Can I visit the factory?
