An airport is one of the most demanding environments for a retractable belt barrier. Thousands of passengers every day, constant pulling on the belt, bases that must withstand impacts from luggage and trolleys, and a brand image that must remain immaculate throughout the terminal. Since 1997, Dlimit™ has manufactured barriers for this intensive use, supplied with customised belts in each operator’s colours and logo.
We work with European airports through AENA, as well as airlines such as Vueling and Alitalia (now ITA Airways) and ground-handling operators. Each installation is adapted to the terminal’s real passenger flow: check-in, pre-boarding, access control, VIP areas, boarding gates and arrivals.

What is the lead time for an airport project?
3 to 5 working days for standard orders. For projects with custom-printed belts or specific RAL finishes, 10 to 15 days. We manufacture in Mataró and ship to any terminal in Europe.
Can we order belts with our airline logo?
Yes. High-resolution CMYK sublimation with Pantone colour matching. Minimum 50 belts. We manage artwork approval with your brand department.
What belt length is recommended for check-in?
3.7 metres on barriers from the Dlimit or Dterminal collections. For boarding gates with shorter queue lanes, 3 metres works well.
How stable is the base against trolley impacts?
The recommended airport bases are the 8 kg versions (LIMIT, MAX). They withstand lateral pulling forces of up to 15 kg without tipping when the belt is extended.
Do you supply replacement belts and reels?
Yes. All our collections are modular, and top caps, belts and bases are replaceable. We supply spare parts for installations that have been in service for more than 10 years.
Can the barrier finish be matched to our corporate colour?
Yes. RAL powder coating across the full range, with a physical colour chart available on request.
