An airport is the most demanding environment for an extendable retractable belt stanchion. Thousands of passengers a day, constant pulling on the belt, bases that must withstand knocks from suitcases and trolleys, and a brand image that must remain impeccable in every terminal. Since 1997, Dlimit™ has been manufacturing posts designed for this intensive use, and we supply them with customised belts in the colours and featuring the logo of each operator.
We work with European airports through AENA and with airlines such as Vueling, Alitalia (now ITA Airways) and ground handling operators. Each installation is tailored to the actual flow of the terminal: check-in, pre-boarding, access control, VIP areas, boarding gates and arrivals areas.

What is the lead time for an airport project?
3 to 5 working days for standard orders. For projects with customised belts or specific RAL colours, 10 to 15 days. We manufacture in Mataró and ship to any terminal in Europe.
Can we order belts with our airline’s logo?
Yes. High-resolution CMYK sublimation printing, Pantone colour accuracy. Minimum order of 50 belts. We will coordinate the approval of the artwork with your branding department.
What length of belt is recommended for check-in?
3.7 metres on posts from the Dlimit or Dterminal collection. For boarding gates with shorter queues, 3 metres works well.
How much weight can the base withstand from a trolley impact?
The recommended bases for airports are the 8 kg models (LIMIT, MAX). They can withstand lateral forces of up to 15 kg without tipping over when the belts are extended.
Do you stock replacement belts and reels?
Yes. All our collections are modular, and the cassettes, belts and bases are replaceable. We supply replacement parts for installations dating back more than 10 years.
Can we customise the post finish to match our corporate colours?
Yes. RAL lacquer across the full colour range, with a physical catalogue available on request.
