A station is an environment as demanding as an airport but with less scope for maintenance. The post has to operate 18 hours a day, every day of the year, withstand knocks from suitcases and trolleys, and still look good after three years. Dlimit™ has posts in the SNCF metro, at Renfe stations, on European trams and at long-distance coach terminals.
We manufacture posts with reinforced heads for high-frequency use, heavy bases that remain stable despite the constant flow of passengers, and belts in each operator’s corporate colours.

How many cycles can the head withstand with intensive underground use?
200,000 certified cycles. Under normal underground conditions, this equates to 5–7 years of use without replacing the heads.
Do you produce belts featuring the operator’s logo?
Yes. CMYK sublimation printing with Pantone colour accuracy. We work with European public transport operators in several countries.
Can the posts withstand the elements on open platforms?
Yes. UV-resistant and anti-corrosion oven-baked lacquer. For maritime or highly exposed environments, we recommend AISI 316 stainless steel.
Can we bolt the posts to the station floor?
Yes. The FIX base is bolted down at three anchor points. For granite or marble floors, we provide specific bolts.
Are height limiters available?
Yes. The Dterminal collection includes the GALIBO model with a horizontal bar at 1.5 m to mark the maximum access height.
How long does an urgent replacement at a station take?
Belts and heads in stock: delivery 3–5 days. For complete projects with customised belts, 10–15 days.
